Default T/B & Plenum

Hey guys. I am about to order the BBK T/B and Plenum for my 02 GT and was wondering what your thoughts are on that. Are the gains similar to other brand T/B & Plenums? I know Accufab is the best, but for 100 bucks cheaper, i will sacrifice 2 HP or so. Is T/B and Plenum even worth it for me?

at a local shop here, we put the accufab to the test. i came in with my MAC tb/plenum and threw my car on the dyno and it went from 354RWHP, 374RWTQ to 362RWHP and 385RWTQ. they told me they'd sell me an accufab cheap, so i bought it and had them put it on and we re-dyno'd it (nothing changed in my AF like i thought it would with either btw) and my car put down 360RWHP 384RWTQ with the accufab. i just wanted the accufab because it looked more bling-bling than the MAC, but the MAC was 289. i sold it and got just about all my money back so it wasn't a total loss.

says you. when put to the test side by side with a MAC, the accufab came up short a couple ponies. didn't try the BBK, i didn't need 3 tb/plenums.

I plan to get a TB and plenum for my 96' GT. Im going to go with BBK though. I know it doesnt give alot of hp, but gives you awesome throttle response.

yeah, that's why i took the hit in the whopping 2RWHP and kept the accufab and sold the MAC. the MAC isn't easy on the eyes, but it outpreformed the accufab.
