Which Intake Manifold

RE: Which Intake Manifold
Unless you have a forged bottom end and at least camshafts you don't need to worry about a forged bottom end.
If you are going to build a car n/a, do so in this order:
Gears/ u/d pulleys
Exhaust boltons
Intake boltons
cam
heads
forged bottom end
intake manifold.
Doing so will allow you toi make the most of your current setup. The only exception is if you are running nitrous. In that case, build the bottom end just after the camshafts.

RE: Which Intake Manifold
so I was looking online, and i see this intake called Professional Products Typhoon Intake Manifold... now supposably this is a copy of Edelbrocks manifold. If this is true, then it would be a good purchase, correct? And if I did purchase one of these is it worth it to purchase the one with the plenum attached or just purchase the manifold, and use my own Accufab TB & Plenum? Or how about Power Plus intakes? Are they the same thing? Thanks

You're ggoing to put your peak power where you can't reach it with that thing.
Not how on Code's car he has a light, hi-po valvetrain to allow him to reach 7,200+rpms where the intake is REALLY helping him. Bharsen, if you get it, expect your low end to be GONE GONE GONE on a stockish motor.
