well im pretty sure there motives, i asked them what kind they were putting in and on the phone they said motives and at the shop they said ford racing so who knows, but i am assuming motives cause of the whineing, but correct me if i am wrong but 4.10's give you a "back in your seat" feeling and i feel pretty much stock , if not slower, and like i said with my mods i got beat by a near stock 99 Auto so somethings F'd up somewhere

you should be pulling hard on a stock 99 even if the only thing you had was 4.10's. maybe you're tuner is a pos? after you get the gears whine fixed, put the stock tune back in (or buy a new one) and see if that helps at all. a bad tune will really make a car feel very very slow.

has your mpg gone down at all? because if you do have a bad tune, that's one indication of it.

i did take the "canned" diablo tune off and instead of him putting 4-5 cars on me he only puts 1-2[:@]. The tune from diablo sucked big time. The only problem is with the tune off, it wont correct my speedometer for the gear change for some reason known only to God, so now i dont kno how fast im going. Its just one damn problem after another with my car

Here is what I was told.... After I took it home. run the car until the gears are operating temp then let them cool all the way down. do this 3 times. Then take a nice long drive, about 25 to 30 miles before you hop on it.

I didn't do this and now I am receving new bearing, and have not decided on new 3.73's or 4.10's

so whats your opinion, you think thats the problem, those jackasses didnt tell me to break them in right and thats why everythings messed up? cause my car is slowwwwwwwwww ESP from 1-2 gear and the gears whineeeeeeeeeeeee. So what do ya think r they gonna have to do a new gear job?

I don't know but I have heard that motive's take alot of shimming so you want them done right but are as bit as good as FRPP. Mine are 3.73 FRPP with bad bearing and gears. (and this is the worst part) it's all my fault.

I got the rebuld kit for 75 everyting, and have not decided if I want to go to the 4:10's. but boy the wind is realy blowing that way.
