i'm looking to buy a stang and i found this one and i wanted to know what you all thought about it. I'm not crazy about the interior colors - i was really hoping for black on black but i haven't been able to find it thus far...

Looks like a pretty clean car, no doubt about that, but to be completely honest with you, Keep Looking.

You will hate yourself if you impulse buy and grab a black car with a tan interior [:'(]

Seems like a good price. Have it checked out by a trusted mechanic. Don't forget to run a Carfax Report on it.

what's your budget? if it is around $5-6k i guess it is a nice buy...but personally I'd rather have a 99-04 than a SN95 mustang because of both looks and performance

Up to you man. Looks nice in the photos. But, honestly 5,800? I would tell him your'e not crazy about the interior and for you to buy it he's gonna have to come down to about 4500. He'll say no way 5300. You say, that car has 111,000 miles on it. I'll give you 4800. Act like you don't really care. He says no, walk away. He'll come down and then. You get the transmission rebuilt for around 800, and get some black bucket seats and some black carpet. Then replace what you can on the dash with black. I'm sure it won't be too back. And you're getting a car that you paid what he's asking for in the end, but you get the transmission/interior in a way "on them." that's just the way I would approach it. The more you act like you're not interested in it, the more he'll be willing to drop the price. Good luck.

eh, looks kind of high of a price for how many miles are on the car... I got my 96 two years ago with 57k for 6000.

I agree with Mustang Corey... talk the price down and then redo the interior. Plus the amount of money you save from buying a sn95 as opposed to a say an 02 with the same options, will buy a lot of mods...

too much for the amount of miles on the car. Any more than 5k for that car is a rip off.

thanks for the advice.. i would definitely have to talk em down a lot - i have to say since i'm a girl guys tend to think they can rip me off when it comes to cars i've been searching for one w/ the black interior for a while but i haven't been able to find it so it would be great to re-do it ! i really need to learn how to do some of this stuff so i can do it and won't have to pay for labor.

it's too bad the mechanic i was dating dropped me for another girl - i could really use some help w/ this one haha

i paid 4 for mine and it had 91 thousand miles on it .they are asking way to much and there is to many miles on it for me..id offer 45 and walk
