Default Converting....

Instead of maxing out my non pi block. I wanna get a 96-98 4.6L Dohc 4 valve cobra engine. And was wondering if the trans is the same as my GT. Im not worry about the work at all. My uncle does this kinda stuff for a living. Do you all think its a good idea? Let me know what you think. Im Est. that i'll need like 4500$ for this whole thing. Thats with engine and idk if I need trans, computer, and 31 spline axles, 3:73 gears and Better posi.

the tranny is the same but I think it has a different bolt pattern.. dont quote me on it.. both are t-45's. The rear end is identical in your GT to a cobra's as well. And yes you will need the computer.. your gt's comp has no idea how to open secondary intake valves at 3250 rpms.. or to keep them closed before that.. and I believe the harness is different anyway as well..
