Default Highs / Fog Light Fix instructions

Keep your fog lights on with your highs/brights.

OK... now after much looking around online and a little expermentation... I have found an easy and cheap fix. Sorry for the pics, my phone is the only camera I have right now.

Step 1: Make a connector wire as short as possible but still able to bend in half with paddle connectors on each end.

Step 2: Find the relay for your fog lights. On my 2002 Mustang GT it was the first small relay in the relay box under the hood. Pull it out and put the connector wire in the slots designated 1 & 4 which you can find by looking on the relay itself, which should be the very first two small slots.

Step 3: Test your fog lights.

If this works for you as it has for me, let me know... or if you found a different way... let me know. Thanks

~Alf

I was gonna do the way that link suggested, but I like djdalfaro's way better cause I don't have to yank into my console & splice wires. That is, so long as that method works OK(?)
