I just went to get tires for my 10.5 DD bullitts. Problem is, they said I cant put on 315`s because they will rub going over bumps and can cause brake failure and other damage can occur. [:@] I told them thats not true. WTF? They reccommend me going with 285/40/17 at the most. (Didn`t purchase anything yet) I dont have any mods done to my suspension as of yet. For those of you that are running this size, have you had any issues? Any info would be great. Thanks.

Lmao, that's the first time I've heard anyone have that problem. Do they think you are putting the DDs on the front? rofl Pop over to modular powerhouse, lots and lots of people have 315s over there. I know code has 335s here. Also I've seen several people here say they have 315s. I think the shop doesnt know jack **** maybe? Go somewhere else. lol

i have them...like i just said in a diff post, they rub on the exhaust in the back only on really tight turns. other than that they are great

I've got them on my 96.... Had a little problem with rubbing one of the quad shocks... But nothing else..

edit: I agree, take it somewhere else... They should have been able to mount it on the rim if nothing else.

You're supposed to take your quad schocks off to run wider tires like that.

Buy some control arms and ditch the quad shocks.

Code is running his 335's with the quad shocks... But I didn't have a problem the whole time, just moderate to hard deceleration, and right turns... So I took them out, and for daily driving it's fine.

But, you're right, I've got my new suspension waiting to go on, just got to find the time.

Yes, give us your input on running those fatass tires of yours. Do you get any rubbing issues ever? Did you modify anything to make them not rub if so? Please give details, I'm gunna be getting wheels/tires fairly soon aswell.
