Default Tough Choice

I have to choose between a 1999 Red GT with grey bullits, 5-speed grey cloth or a 1997 moonlight blue GT 5-speed with grey cloth.

The 97 Has 4:10's , flowmasters, CAI and Sub-frame connectors. The AC compressor is bad and will need the deck of the trunk painted. Its Moonliht blue, gorgeous and if I get it I am putting Flat black racing stripes on it and painting the spoiler flat black.

The 99 has nothing wrong with it and no mods and I hate the wheels.

I have always loved the SN-95's and that color-scheme. THe 97 is 2k less than the 99. WHat should I do?

how fast do you wanna go? The 99 is better if you wanna slap a s/c on and call it a day, the 97 can make more power though, all motor, prob even supercharged. Headswap package=1600 for the Stage 2 heads, which with an S/C can make 500rwhp, with stage 1s (200 bucks cheaper) you get around 270-290 RWHP all motor, then you can go ahead and spray nitrous with better results b/c of raised compression. Go with what you want but if you do get the red please remove the gay stripes and whatnot

if you have serious money, my dream would always be to get a performance red mustang GT, drop a 5.4L V8 and throw a cobra R body kit and wing, so its just like a Cobra R

If you like the 97, then go for it.. Yes, you will be at a disadvantage with the hp, but nothing saving the 2k plus some saved from not buying the 99 won't solve...
And the 97 already has 4.10's, that'll save you $500.

Both stock. But I'm in love with SN-95's and that color. I'd do the flat black stripes and 03 Cobra satins. ANd not alot of cash. Only giving 4k for the 97

I'm aiming more towards track racing and the 97 has been lowered and has sub-frame connectors.

That 97 is gorgeous.... I can only hope you don't ruin that beautiful paint job with flat black stripes.

The $2k saved put into a PI headswap + nitrous + it already has 4.10's will put you way out in front of that 99. The 99 looks tacky to me.

I agree, the paint scheme and the headlights look ****ty on that 99. The 97 looks absolutely beautiful, seems like you like it more too. I'd say get the 97 and do a PI swap right away!
