Does anybody know where I can find an instrument cluster that surpasses 150 MPH for the speedometer?????

Go to steeda, the clusters on Steeda stangs go to 200. Cobra gauges go to 160, same with Saleen... there's a start. You'll have to e-mail steeda about it (go to steeda.ca about it, it's in canada but they're smaller and VERY helpful... and can get your order shipped from a US warehouse, so no customs to deal with.)

I don't know why he would want to go that fast, but maybe he's gonna get blown and go to the autobahn or something and wants to compete with corvettes [&:]

 

Already past it boys. We have a long stretch of highway in denve called 470 W with little to no police. So after my Xcal tune i did I wanted to push it. And i went past 150 no sweat. My buddies with 5.0's have passed 150 a lot.

 

Also, so you have to decide yourself where you want the performance for your pony to be. Off the line or pure overall performance. I am more geared to compete with the euros (bmw, audi..) and the imports as american performance cars have never been know for handeling and high end performance.

Nah man, all controlled. My tokico's are firm, my tires grip and big wheels keep me really stable. No problems at all and no worries. But every now and then you need to push it a little. I know most people hit the track, but every know and then you gotta say WTF.

I've killed a coupel porshes this way too. 3.73 gears and the shorty shifter just own them for some odd reason or they just flinch. I still get killed by vette's... no suprise there.
