exhaust

RE: exhaust
with LM2s and O/R X pipe you might find it hard to have a conversation in the car. and it HONES like crazy. Crackle ? i dont think so
I can listen to music and talk to people in my car. Grant it listening to music is a little harder when you are at WOT, but cruising around my setup is suprisingly QUIET for this setup. Statements like the one above are not true at all.
It does hone at certain points in time, like when you are going up a huge hill in 3rd gear, but thats it. Im not saying it not ridiculously LOUD, because it IS, but not being able to have a conversation is completely false.

SLP is the way to go, my dad just went to the store to get breakfast for us, and I was grinning from ear to ear as I listened to him startup the car and ride a mile down the road. I should have a video up next weekend.

and i saw a car an mach 1 with slp exhaust its crazy koud and not as deep as id like, i want a deep deep sound. maybe he had lm1s i dunno but he has an slp performance sticker so he had a full exhaust

RE: exhaust
Yea Anti is right.
LM1's with a catted X, and LM2's with an o/r. That will give you a cleaner sound if you think the LM1's are raspy. Although an o/r X even with the LM2's are going to be choppy... Thats what happenes with any o/r midpipe.
Plus I really don't think my LM1's and o/r X are raspy... I think its more choppy than raspy, which I like.
LM2's + Catted X is the cleanest, best sound I have heard on a mustang though. Not loud enough for me though, and I didn't want a "Clean" sounding stang... I wanted it to sound like a death squad.. And thats what I got.
Ive had my exhaust for about 3-4 weeks now, and a couple of my friends who have been around the car since I first got it done are still dropping their jaws when I start it up and ride away. [8D]
