Which one would you choose and why?

99 because I love the new edge body style.

96-98 cause it looks better and wasnt recalled

1999 because of the new body style. Who cares about the recall, the service was probably already done on the car, if not take it in to Ford and they will do it for free.

the other one still looks better. but if you like the new edge style get the 99 cobra

The 99 looks a lot better and it's newer so it will probably last a little longer.

I would get the 99, but i still love the 98 cobra's.

I don't really care about the looks... which one would be easier to mod, cheaper to mod, and have better reactions to mods.

I think they will be about the same man. Both are 4.6L 4valves. The 99 has IRS though and the 96-98 doesn't.

doesn't the 96-98 have that stronger block made in italy that can supposedly handle up to 1000hp (someone on here mentioned this). If this is true, I would definetly go with the 96-98 because of that and the solid rear...
