Man, that sux, I hope the compression test turns out well for ya,,, judging by that plug, I wouldn't be surprised if you had some heavy duty detonation going on , I hope the piston is ok. Good luck, please post updates

It sure looks like you're running exceptionally lean in that cylinder.. So much, that you melted the electrode off of the plug...
That could be your misfire as well.. You may want to check your injector in that cyl, since it almost sounds like that one isn't quite working right...
Do you have an EGT, or some other way to monitor your temps?? This may have been easier to diagnose w/ a little more feedback from the sensors...

ok as a fellow nitrous man i must tell you to never ever ever run a platinum plug with nitrous ever again. they can withstand to the heat and you might have a hole in the piston from that plug firing off the sidewall of the cylinder. If you buy plugs stick with copper or iridium. I just use copper cause they are cheap and work just as well. Boush supers work just fine ive never had any problem out of them You probly dropped that red hot peice of platinum fall on that piston and that plug was firing at on time and could have quite possably fired ontop of the piston and burnt a hole in the top of it. check the oil for fuel go change it and hope for the best man

Looking at your plug, it looks as if you may have "holed" a piston, I would do a compression test. Ever plug I've pulled like that, the result hasn't been pretty. The picture isn't clear but it looks like molten Aluminum is present.
