Default Which springs are for me?

hey guys, about to make the jump on some lowering springs, and i was curious what brand and amount of drop would work for me.

01 GT, running 275's all around. the front tires rub a bit when im making a HARD turn, but i refrain from doing so. looking to get rid of that 4x4 look without running into trouble with the tires rubbing. i will also be adding LT headers in the future, so i want to keep those from becoming an issue as well.

any big difference between steeda, eibach, and the ford springs? thanks!

I have the steeda springs and they suck, It only lowers it an inch. You need to get a 2 inch drop to make it look nice. The eibach springs leave your car at a good height.
Is your car on 17 inch rims?

yeah, 17inch rims. i think the 2in will be too much for the LT headers in the future.

which eibach kit would be a good fit?

well, a 1.5" drop is definitely a bit much. im thinking more in the realm of 1".

is it any better to drop the front a bit more than the back?

i measured mine before i had the drop and the front sat .5 in higher in the front. so now it's a tad lower in the front or at least on some it will even them out.

the only difference youll see with a drop more in the front is a more aggresive stance. 1 inch drop eh? hmm im pretty sure ford racing makes a spring that doesnt drop that much.

Get Vogtland springs. They are perfect on my car with L/Ts. www.vogtland.com you can find them cheaper on ebay.
