Default Wheel locks but no key. Solution?

When I bought the car used it had wheel locks installed and no key. Obviously I overlooked that detail but will need to get my wheels off eventually.

What is the best solution?

OXY-Acetylene torch. No you can probably find a key for them. Like buy a set of lock nuts that looks like yours and use the key from that.

A 12 point socket will work. find one that is very close(slightly smaller) than the nuts themselves then use a malet to drive it on. Now you have a way t oget them off.

Is there any paper work on it? If not and they are the factory wheel locks your local ford dealer will prolly have a key for them.

get a socket big enough to fit over the lug, but not too big. Rough up lug with a rasp so stuff can stick to it (chrome off). Get some JB weld and pour it inthe socket (deep well works better) squish it on (wipe excess up off rim) let dry, then use socket to remove. Obviously this has to be done 4 x but easier than torching your rims and having to replace 4 wheels studs.

take the car to the dealer they should have a master key set that has all the different key locks. they might charge but then youll know what key you need.

I had this problem on one of my cars. Here is what I suggest. Find a socket that's barely too small. When I say barely I mean one that slides over about 25% of the lug. (Now you're going to have to be prepared to POSSIBLY wreck the socket.) Now take a hammer and slowly hit it over the socket. Not granny it but don't pound it like mad. If it's a decently made socket it should slide over the lug digging the sides into the lug creating a "bite". Now put a tire iron...or make life easier and air gun/impact wrench and spin that sucker off of there. Trust me, this works. Obviously you'll have to buy new lugs for the 1-4 keys you'll have to take off. Hope this helps/works. Let us know.
