first, will sound like crap. second, you will lose most of your torque/power unless you are forced inductin or have a massive high rpm cam. some backpressure is needed, otherwise your engine wont be able to run right. fuel injected engines repsond to open headers way different than carbureted engines.

third, YES IT WILL HURT YOUR ENGINE!!! Not instantaneously, but if left like that for prolonged time, it will burn the exhaust valves and eventually weld the head to the block. This is due to too little back pressure and see... the exhaust pipes do help take heat away from the engine... you take away that heat exchanger and the heat just burns up whatever it touches last a.k.a. the cylinder head and exhaust valves

and yeah you don't want a ticket for open headers.

a few people told me that you will burn up the valves because you dont have any back pressure. is this ture?

not so much the back pressure, but because if you have no exhaust beyond the headers, the heat is going to build up. Your exhaust system does serve as a giant radiator for some engine heat. Mostly heat from the exhaust valves and the cylinder head. No back pressure just makes a lot of engines run like a$$

yep. and the exhaust fumes will build up under the car. C02. especially in high altitudes, like above 9000 foot where the air is lean, you could easily become asphyxiated and run off a mountain pass and die. Or live and just wake up with a crashed car and a pounding headache.

Way too LOUD, GET EARPLUGS. Also not good for your motors performance. It runs lean.

250 miles on 20 gallon tank...

250/20 = 12.5mpg... even sadder.

CO, not C02, is the big problem because it replaces the oxygen in your blood stream and basically suffocates you.
