Smell clutch when buring out...
Well I was just messing around one day when I decided to smoke my tires for a little to use up the rest of my old ones. I never really did it at the track, I just let it get wet and I pop the clutch and let the tires slip to the line. But when I did it I smelled that awful smell of burnt clutch. I thinking what the heck did I do wrong? Basically I just have my foot on the brack, clutch down and I cant my right foot over to the accelerator and give gas while I let go of the clutch. I get a good smoke but it just smelt like I did something more then just burned rubber. Anyone know of a better way to burn out without burning out the clutch?
SLP Line Lock.
or
Put foot on the gas and the brake and other foot on the clutch and rev it up and drop the clutch while still holding the brake and the gas then move the clutch foot over to hold the brake and move the other foot over to the gas

not really but you will have to change your rear pads/rotors more often. Get a line lock kit ( i dont' have one) but if I was serious about racing and was going to be doin burnouts, I don't wanna ruin my brakes
I have the slp line lock. I like it makes burnout a no brainer and dont have to worry about wearing out the back brakes. The install is not not hard, just takes some time. You might get it done in the three hours including bleeding the brakes, but took me longer. One person can do the install, but just need to get some help bleeding the brakes after the install, and before you go drive anywhere.
Have to cut some line wrenches though because of the tight space.
