How much should it cost to rebuild my tranny? Its the 3650 on my 02 GT. My 3rd and 4th syncros seem to be shot!

 

man i hope its not what we think it is. i'd rather see you put some cams or something like that into it instead of fixing that tranny.

 

I was all set to do TB/Plenum, blower cams, and mid pipe all in at once with a re-tune. Guess that will ahve to wait though. We will see what happens tomorow when I go to the dealership and see if I am still under warrenty with the blower and all!

 

if you take the trans out yourself and bring the trans to the shop, probably about $1000-1200

if you don't, at least $1500 or so


I did 90% of the trans rebuilt myself on my T45!! saved alotttta money too

exactly! It's not parts you are payin for man, it's labor. a few hours to R&R it and it's not a quick swap, trans's are complicated! haha the only reason i rebuilt mine myself was it was the cheapest option
