A squeak coming from the transmission area. The Ford Dealer says its the t/o bearing, but not covered under warranty. [sm=smiley21.gif]

hey 04 red gt i went to the dealer today cuz of my to bearing as well or some noise when clutch was not pressed and they didnt cover because "its a wear item like your tires, brakes, oil, etc" yea ford is way too picky on their warranty and if theyll fix it its just till ur warranty expires. I hate ford only respect i have for is the mustang.

center console - that's the only problem I had. I used some of the expanding foam in a can stuff and tried to fill in all the gaps. it helped a little and that stuff is fun to play with around the house after you're done.

^^ i wasnt bashing you dont worry, i just didnt want this to be another bash mustang thread.
i want it to be an informative look ot for this problem so if it happens, its normal thread.
yeai kinda felt like that was where i was heading when i started typing...you gotta cut me some slack...i'm a V6 auto...i'm only in this section cuz i'm dreaming...lol...i getcha though and i will try to make em informative not bash

if you pound your fist on top of the dash above the AC vents you can make the rattles go away for a little....they come back in minutes though....lol....i don't recommend doing this under the influence though...after the club my buddy who doesn't drink was driving home and the noise was really bothering me...so i started hitting the dash (with my left...i am right handed) and i missed punching straight through the top left vent...new one from ford parts was 34 bucks [:@]...coulda went to a junkyard but i am so lazy....didn't feel like tracking one down so just went out and ordered a new one...oh well lesson learned...lol...also the pedal height difference thing is really annoying!

the 3650 is by far the biggest mistake ever put in a mustang. Synchros go bad, lots of noises, and it will rip your head off while downshifting if you don't match revs right. But other than that, nothing major besides your normal squeaks you get from a rubber interior.
