I know the post has called for all Short Shifter owners, Sadly i am not, but planning on being.. I just decoded to jump at this chance to ask, if missing third gear is really that much of a problem and how much shorter than the actual stock shifter are they?

i tried the mgw and its perfect for the track But I couldnt see myself using it for daily driving.
Eh, it's not bad at all for daily driving. The MGW is definitely a shorter throw than stock, but I'm having trouble getting into reverse sometimes. I'm thinking about trying a different brand or going back to...GASP...stock!

Other than the reverse issue, it's a fun, quiet mod that's a bit overrated.
u sure its not the synchros acting up?

You can install the shifter yourself. Their are directions online everywhere. If you can change a tire you can install a shifter.[8D]

People listen to the cobra owner... Good enough for a cobra, it'll be great for the gt.
