im definetely getting headers for sure in the near future..im just trying to figure out what size tb'plenum i should go with ..or which ones i should get first
do exhaust before the intake stuff. lots more gains for your buck.

regardless of any of this, a t/b is almost totally worthless on anything close to a stock car. Even at full botlons I have never seen anytone pick up more than a few rwhp (2-3) with the t/b alone. Most of the gains that are had in the intake tract are in the plenum.

I think they would both beneift one anoter. THe headers will allow mor air out of your car but without more air coming in you would not really benefit as much from them. Maybe 2000GT4.6 is right and a 70mm is good for your NPI gt, but either way allowing more air in and out will help to "free up" some HP. I would think to see your best benefits a dyno tune would be in order. With advancing the timing and adjusting the A/F you could see some decent gains with intake and exhaust mods. I think a good tune is more important than the difference between a 70 and 75mm TB.

Very good decision. The sound alone from the LT's was worth it IMO, but the performance is always first. You should've heard it when I first put on the LT's and ran it for a couple minutes with open headers. OMG, I had to change my pants. I can't imagine what it would've sounded like with a big cam in there. I think my reation would've been [sm=jawdrop.gif]
