Default supercharging

Is it ok to supercharge an engine that has about 60,000 miles stock and a pi head swap (25,000 on the heads)? I'm looking to run about 7 psi, but want to make sure I don't blow my engine.

you dont' have to worry too much about 60,000, what you have to worry about is that pi swap. when you do a pi swap your compression raises to about 10.5:1 which is kind of high for a s/c. you should be ok with 7psi and a good tune (everything matters in the tune, i can't say that enough). the ideal compression for a s/c is about 8.5-9.5:1
