Default Quick tire question

Are the stock Goodyear Eagle ZR45 (245/45-17) tires that came on my 03 GT considered summer tires or all season? If they are all season, then I want to stick with that because if the snow traction sucked with those, then summer tires will really suck. Or is there not going to be much difference between the 2 (assuming the same brand) since Mustangs are just bad in snow no matter what?

Thanks.

In my opinion you're never gonna get good traction in the winter no matter what you do...that's why mine takes up residence in the garage all winter The tires you have on there I believe are all season...but just go to discounttiredirect and look them up. It'll tell you all the specs there.

Thanks for the reply. I figured traction would be bad no matter what, but I need to drive my car all year round, so I figured I should stick with something that would give the best possible traction.

I did try looking up the tires on tirerack and discounttiredirect, but they don't list the 245/45ZR17s on there unless I somehow missed it.

no, the goodyear zr gatorbacks are considered high performance summer only tires. as said on the goodyear site. also tire rack calls them ultra high performance summer only tires, but we all know that theres no ultra anything in those tires
