I am 18 and wondering if it would be possible to buy a 02 mustang gt. I make about 2 grand a month, would it be possible to purchase one. If i have no credit is financing possible. I have been a Mustang lover for monthes now and am finnaly ready to buy one.

It's difficult to suggest whether someone should purchase a car when we have no idea what your financial situation is. You told us how much you make, but it's up to you to take a good look at your bills and make that decision. Take a look at your monthly recurring bills, and check how much payments would be plus insurance.

They make look for some type of collateral if you have no credit built up. And then again they may not, depends on the dealer and where they get their financing from. Also, they may ask for a co-signer.

hell yea man, im 19 make less than 2 grand a month, have an 02 GT and put mods into it, i picked mine up for about 14 grand out the door, the killer is you need to be on your parents insurnace if at all possible, if not your insurance is a couple hundred bucks more than your payment, right now i pay 283 for car and 171 for ins...money well worth the fun...o andn you def need a co signer

Dependa on what your other bills are like and dont forget about insurance because it may very well be just as much as your carv payment at 18 with a v8 stang. A mustang is a high profile vehicle, but it is possible you just have to really consider your other priorities...Oh yeh and don forget gas will be a female dog these days.

with my credit union i took a $4,000 loan , had $4,000 cash and bought my GT , my payment was $134 a month , i had NO prior credit.

Shop around.Some times Dealers will get a 02 or 03 in a trade in for somthing else.If you put down enough you should be able to get what you want.I got my 03gt in november of 05 and put down 3k. I paid 17k for my gt but i got the extended warrenty and other stuff(gap ins.)My credit is crapy.but they still sold me the car.And if you finace the car try and get it through Ford Credit.THey are wounderful.4 months after I got my gt I got laid off from my job.Called them up and they work with you.Do not get financing through GMAC they are assh)les.If somthing happens and you are a day late.they want to take the car.Just my 2cents

yea, i have no bills whatsoever. i live with my parents and am not going to college for another year so it sounds like it could be very possible. i think i can pull it off.
