Default succesful v6 to v8 :)

ok i figured since you guys already drive v8 id post this thread here, i hav a 99 v6 and hav been wanting to make a gt out of it 4 the longest time, i hav order the bullit suspension 4 it which comes with front/rear swaybars, shocks and struts, and ford C springs, i hav a 02 4.6 with a 5 speed comes complete with all accesarys including headers and ecu, i hav a slp lm x pipe with high flow cats and a slp lm2 cat back system, hav a 8.8 rear end off a gt with 3.73 gears installed in it, have a gt instrument gauge, and 4 black bullit rims and tires, is there anything else im missing b4 i start swapping everything???

will the stock radiator fit without anything having to be moved when the 4.6 goes in??

i have no clue why you worry about a radiator getting in the way, same bodies, if anything the v6 has a SMALLER radiator so you would need to upgrade one to be efficient, but i dont even know that. but you definitely do have a lot of goodies, sounds like you're all set, im sure there will be some tiny thing you're leaving out, only one way to find out, start wrenchin!

personally i would of thrown in a built 4.6 since you have it out and about already, if you have the finances build the bottom end and forge it out, why not eh.

wouldnt it have been cheaper to buy a GT? or are you just trying to be the most unique Mustang around? not criticizing...just wondering. seems like an awful lotta work to get the performance of a GT. if youre going for unique...you are definitely succeeding. good luck with the swap man. youll surprise some people with GTs when you pull up next to em and run even with em lol.
