This is easy.. The following mods are what every car needs to be a successful 12 second car:

1. The biggest APC decal you can possibly find to put on the hood.
2. Green neon lights regardless of what color the car is.
3. 12 inch non-functional tach.
4. Oversized body kit that is not made for your car but with a little fabrication will work. Primer colored.
5. 14 inch fart can.

He He.. Sorry couldn't help myself. But seriously, It can be done but will take some time and money. Easier to go F.I. IMO.

I agree But you forgot the type R sticker..lol

Guys i'm only browsing and I come across this discussion and I wan't to know, What makes it so hard to go 12's in the Mustangs???Im just curious because they have V8's with multiple cams. Do they not respond very well to Bolt-ons? Or do they not make much power at all?? The reason my asking is I own a 1993 Z28 M6, and my car is "limited" to Kooks 1-3/4" LT Race Headers, off-road pipe and Mufflex 4"/3", TB, 24lb. Injectors,1.65 rockers,F.A.S.T Tuning,BMR Full Suspension,4.10grs, and have been able to run 12's on slicks/skinnies almost everytime out. I always hear the 12-second discussion among 4.6 enthusiast at the strip but have never asked what the difficulties were? 12's aren't hard.

freaklt1z28 .. it would be far less difficult with 69 more cubic inches... and your "limited," list of mod's aren't all that limited. 4.10 gears alone make F bodys turn on.

Thank you man, it doesn't take nitrous or a blower to get a gt into the 12's. Just good tasteful mods.
I agree... when I said "get into the 12's," I meant high 12's.. I think it's possible but the setup must be just right.. thats why i'm curious of what people have on their cars that are in the 12's.
