Default 3:73's hmm...

I was wondering in what order of being the most powerful and least are the gears. 3:55 to 3:73 to 4:10. And is 3:73 any better than 3:55's.

I don't understand the question. higher number = more torque multiplication

Dude it all depends on wahtyou want to do with your car. The steeper the gear (higher in nunber) the lower your top speed, the better the acceleration. Personally, Id go witha 3.55 and build the snot out of the motor, but thats just me. A 4.10 IMO is way too steep, for a BONE STOCK stang itll be fine, but for anything with some actual HP 1st gear will become useless (all tire spin), and on the highway the rpm's will be too high, for my liking anyway. To me 3000 or higher at 70 is unacceptable. Unneccassary gas guzzling and engine wear.

ONLY at the track on slicks, other than that tire spin galore.

don't worry about the gears killing your top speed, that's a bunch of bull. we are limited by our horsepower and drag, not by our rpms.
