Default Heres what I did

After getting my DD bullitts, I decided to get rid of my skinny spare tire and replace it with one of my extra bullitt wheels. Only thing I had to do is extend the jack/tire hold down hook and take out the board between the carpet and spare tire. Then cut the carpet out a little bit, then drop in the wheel. Good idea IMO, what do you guys think?

that's a lot of weight you're adding and didn't you lose trunk space?

Really, its not all that much heavier than the spare. As for trunk space, I can still get quite a bit in there without a problem if I need to but its not my daily driver and I really never put anything back there.

Wow, not bad at all actually. Although, still adding a bit of weight. I can't believe that 17" Bullet wheel and larger tire weighs nearly the same as the spare. I could be wrong...who knows.

I just removed the spare altogether...

I think it's awesome! I was actually thinking of doing the same thing! Unless someone buys mine, but they are FRPP 17x8 forged alum bullits :P anyway. nice deal, looks pretty good!

PS, wouldnt a little weight in the rear help out? I mean our rearends are pretty light... and people move the battery to the rear to put more weight on the tires.... My friend actually ran .2 faster on the 1/4 with his spare IN...

Very true, I took mine out to make the ***-end lighter on the street (although not much). I haven't been to the dragstrip with mine yet, but I'll be sure to put the tire back in to see what times I can run. Then maybe try it without.
