I've always been told the I beams were much stronger. And looking at parts from summit magazine, they're a hell lot more expensive too.

well yes and no. I think i'd rather do my own work, then I enjoy the gratification of working on my own car. Like with rebuildin my trans, replacing the oil pan gasket, rear main and putting in a king cobra clutch... i would never appreciate all that work if i didn't do it myself. not to mention, all the work gives me experience towards my career

I never said you said that [8D]

most people would agree the i beam is better but then they are some that think h beam are better. thats the way it goes in the racing bussiness, every body has their likes and dont likes.

I know ya weren't dissin it! I just mean it's not because it's junk that it needs work, it's because it's got miles on it. More or less me rambling on lol

but yes I am going to school to be a technician. I spent 2 years at a high school auto class that was college level, and I just completed one year of my community college 1/2 auto 1/2 gen ed. I'm goin for an Associates in applied science. Ultimately I'm goin for my Masters, but that's a bridge I'll cross when I get there.

I'm in the process of being hired by a ford Dealer as a porter/parts driver/shuttle driver. Gettin my foot in the door of a dealer!

The more experience I get, the better. Also restoring a 69 chevy impala with my dad
