Default SLP Loud Mouth vs loud mouth II

What are the differences? Is one modular construction and the other not?

The LMI is a hollow resonator and the LMII looks exactly the same as the LMI but the LMII is a straight thru muffler with interior packing. LMI = loud as hell but sounds good LMII = deep and loud when you want it to be and has a better tone. Quiter than the LMI.
The modular exhausts are for the Cobra with the IRS.

LM - Bullet-Type Open Resonator ~ Extremely aggressive; powerful high- and
mid-range tones with moderate resonance

LMII - Muffling, Bullet-Type Resonator ~ Similar to original Loud Mouth, but with
a throatier tone and reduced resonance

LM 1 are much louder due to it being nothing but a straight pipe.

The LM II are packed to knock down the sound and so they are not as raw and hard core

goto http://www.slponline.com/modular_exhaust.asp and goto the bottom and put ur mouse over the resonators

so they are exactly the same minus the type of muffler they come with...and since they are modular and are switchable...there's no difference at all with the pipes themselves? interesting

Dude the only modular exhausts are for the 03/04 Cobra. The only difference in the systems for the GT is the Mufflers.

Not true.

The SLP Loudmouth 1 and 2 are modular for the GT's as well.

Go to the SLP website. The modular system is only for the Cobra.
