well thanks for the reply's. I decided to buy some BBK L/T ceramic headers with a VRS O/R X-Pipe with about 5,000 miles on them. Hope this helps me breake the 285rwhp mark. I will post results next weekened.

do other mods first then the long tubes. I did my clutch after my long tubes and had to pay a whole lot extra because the long tubes were in the way.

Wouldn't my stock clutch be fine with around 285-290 rwhp? I have heard that some guys use thier stock clutch with superchargers, if that is the case i should be safe with my stock clutch right?

your clutch would be gone pretty fast if you were making power with a supercharger.
stock clutch can hold 285 but its going to eventually start slipping. You might as well get a clutch because the stock one is terrible and it will eventually go because its not made for that power.

Not to hijack, but the vrs o/r x pipe will fit right up to bbk longtubes without any fitment issues correct?? Also, I've heard the vrs o/r x pipe is less raspy than most, is this true?

Okay, I recently hit 275rwhp AND 308wtq with the mods in my signiture minus the gears. I have been told i will gain more hp with longtubes than with my shorties. I believe this is true. My question is, how much more do you think i will gain with BBK L/T and VRS O/R X-pipe? Also, how much torque will i lose down low with L/T's as opposed to shorties? Roughly the same or more? I putting the gears in this weekened so im not overly concerned with the torque loss. Thanks guys.
ALSO,.......IF YOU DO INSTALL THE LONG TUBES, I HIGHLY RECCOMEND TO PUT IN A NEW CLUTCH. IF YOU HAVE CLUTCH PROBLEMS AFTER YOU INSTALL THE L/T'S. YOUR GONNA HAVE TO TAKE ATLEAST ONE OF THEM RIGHT OFF AND LOOSEN UP THE OTHER ONE.

sonic gt...there shouldnt be any fitment issues...ive seen a few people on the forums with that setup...most recently meebix i believe. he has that with LMIs. also...i remember reading some posts about x pipes...and i dont know if its so much that the VRS is less raspy so much as it is that supposedly the bbk o/r x pipe has some extra rasp for some reason. so i heard to stay away from the bbk x pipes. vrs is a great brand and i doubt youd have problems with them.

Thanks for the help man, I'm really leaning towards the vrs o/r x pipe. I like the sound of the h, but I want the few extra ponies of the x pipe. I know I wont feel a difference between the h and x pipe, but if I want 300rwhp n/a, every pony counts i guess.
