Default Tire Recommendations

I'm new to the site and have a question.
I have a 2000 Mustang GT V8 4.6 L Convertible with 35,000 miles. Time for new tires. Any suggestions? My mechanic mentioned Cooper Zeon ZPT Sport 400-A-A-W Are these good? Want something that isn't too noisy but has good traction and handling. Thanks in advance for your response.

Having great luck with my BFG GForce sports. Excellent dry traction, cornering, and steering response. Wet traction is decent, and you shouldn't have any problems whatsoever if you drive responsibly. Snow traction is non-existant, these aren't winter tires.

I couldn't agree more. BFG Gforce Sports rock. I love them.
