thats miles on 4.6's iv seen in my area, not on any kind of motor. the best protection for a motor is run the right weight of syn oil, then once it gets on up to around 120,000 go higher, to a 10-30. all cars made now days are built as disposeable cars, car makers say that so when the people hear that they say "omg i got a high mileage vehicle i better sell/trade it and get a new one before it falls apart". car makers want you to do that so they can keep their new car sales up. then when they re-sale the car you traded in they say "great car only 75,000 highway miles on it..." and they rape you with the price.
yep you are fine with 10w30... just change it at 3000 miles and no problems man...and dont put 5w30 in there ontop of 10w30 untill you get the oil changed ( just incase your car eats up oil or something im sayin dont put a quart of 5w30 in to top it off )
