I've had a few Mustangs and I've tried a lot of shifters. I am still a hands down fan of Steeda's Tri-Ax. It's the best all around for daily driver. As for the gears, FRPP. It's your decision if you want 3.55, 3.73, 4,10, or even 4.30

FRPP 4.10`s
MGW short throw shifter.
Check out www.mustangtuning.com and www.rpmoutlet.com They have some good package deals on the gears with a tuner or speedorecal along with gear lube or bearing kit.

I would only do frpp gears in my opinon. If not getting a blower get 4:10's. And I like my steeda tri-ax shifter pretty good.
