On ebay I got PI heads w/ less than 10 hrs on them (everything looked excellent w/ no carbon build up) w/ crane regrinds ( same specs as VT stage 1's) new PI manifold and new valve covers for 575 shipped. With 1500 you can do a good bit if you are not in a hurry and do not mind ebay.
