MSD Ignitions
I know what they do, but how hard are they to install? I was looking at the MSD 6A. What else is required and what else is recommended to go with these systems? Are they worth it on a lightly modified car? thanks
I wouldn't think in a lightly modified car that you would really get much out of them. I have a '98 GT with the dual coils and replaced them with Accel in about 10 minutes or less. Only other electrical items I replaced were my wires with Ford Racing 9mm. Good wires. Then again, I am not even too sure if '99's had wires. After a while all ignition wires were eliminated. May be later around 2001.

Just a FYI, Summit Racing sells them for $399 and shipping is free here in the states.

I have MSD wires. Do Granatelli's Ford Coil-On-Plugs connect onto the ends of the wires. Sorry but I am having trouble understanding what these are exactly? Can someone help? Sorry to jump in like this on your post.
