thanks for the info. i was looking at some heades and cams is it true that stage one cams will run better then the stage 2 cams. and if i get the cams can i keep the same heads i have the equipment to do it my self but is it worth just getting the cams or do i have to get the heads also. granted heads will be nice but it is about the budget.

its true running stage 1 cams on a stock engine is better then running stage 2s on a stock engine.
Reason being Stage 2 cams makes most of there power around 6200rpm stock block can only rev to about 6000 at most.

What year is your car?

my car is a 04. i have some ideas what i want to do but i was told that the blocks can only handle about 400 horse safe. i dont know if its true or not. i took it down the track and with all the spinning i did it was a pretty bad time i ran. i am going to work on the tracktion but thanks for all the help. i am tring to get every thing done by next week so i am picking every ones brain apart. there is a import vs domestic and i am sick of all theses rice burners taking over but what can u do but thanks for the info. if you have any more helpfull hints let me know and thanks again
