Default LOOK!!!!!!!!

Hey
I have a 96 gt with 100,000 miles on it I’ve been using Mobil one 10w 30 synthetic oil but the car is burn oil should I change the oil to some kind of oil that is for cars with high milage is it alright to switch oils. I hear a lot of good things about royal purple would it be good for my particular situation

If you have just switched to synthetic oil it will burn some oil for the first 3,000 miles. When i switched to synthetic oil would puff out when i first started up but now it is gone. If not, you could switch to regular oil and see if that helps, but if is blowing smoke you have a problem with your rings and seals and they need to be replaced anyway so you would just be masking the problem. The 4.6 motor really likes 5w30 so i would use that.
