Default forging internals?

in a couple months I am planning on making my stang scream bloody murder...
I'm getting a vortech methanol to air system, lowering the gearing in my rear end a bit so I get traction and pushing 12 PSI out of the vortech...
when I take it to the shop how much witll it be to forge the internals?
what kinda numbers will I see?
what kind of track times will I have?
will I **** myself with joy from the difference?

Taking down some LS1's like their sitting still, LOL. Hope noone takes offense to that comment, I just had to say it. I think with forging internals and a Vortech with 12psi atleast, I see 11's easily. Watch out C6 Z06's.

what do you mean what kind stuff? If you are getting beefed up interanals who are you going to go with? Are you buying all the parts individually, or getting a new block?

I'm going through a mustang specialist shop by me... alterative auto
they are doing everything... I think I might have them make a custom 3 inch exhast from the engine back as well

this is the shop
http://www.alternativeauto.com/

I think I'm having them install the system change the rear to a good S/C'ed ratio for traction... custom make an exhaust with Long tubes a shorty O/R mid and a catback
I'm also thinking about getting ported and polished and getting bored out a bit while it's getting taken apart
and then another full dyno tune
I'm not sure what they are doing... that's why they are doing it
it won't be for a couple of months though... big waiting list for this guy

expect to pay about $3000 or so for the new forged shortblock. then another $3000 to get everything swapped to the new block.

12psi isn't crap on a forged motor. as i said before. that's like buying a really nice big HDTV and playing super nintendo on it.

don't you mean air to water intercooler? as far as i know, vortech doesn't make a methanol to air intercooler.

+1 if you're forging, you gotta push more psi than that man!! 12 psi would be like buying a hooker and only getting a handjob

well I just talked to the guy who runs the shop this is what he is doing a
1. alcohol induction vortech running 14 to 15 PSI
2. dropping a stroker long block? whatever the hell that is???
3. mild cam work? whatever that is???
4. headwork? still in the dark???
5. custom 3in piping from the block to the back (finally I understand something)
6. rebuilt rear end with decent gearing
7. full dyno tune
so yea... good thing he's doing it for me because all I heard is 13,000 dollars "going to be pushing 500 rwhp or close to it"

but my apointment isnt set up untill next summer... so I will be waiting untill then

but what do you guys think? is it going to be a mean GT 2V?
what cars will I be able to run with next summer?
