I've heard too many stories like this of booms caused by N20

I seriously considered nitrous but there are simply too many variables, and I have heard to many horror stories.

I seriously considered nitrous but there are simply too many variables, and I have heard to many horror stories.

Nitrous is no more harmful than a supercharger on your engine if you get it tuned and use it wisely. I am not sure if the guy that started this thread did anything wrong and he very well may not have. Any time you put a huge amount of extra HP on the engine you can have things go wrong. Nitrous just gets a bad wrap because all those ricers watched F&F, installed a push button system, then went out and blasted a 400 shot on a stock civic engine at 2000 RPM's then told the whole world that nitrous blew up their car. Nitrous didn't blow their car up, stupidity blew their car up.

dam that's funny, (not the thread) but I know a guy that did that same thing, I was on my *** when it happned, I still get a kick thinking about it.

the kit is a NOS kit, and i was spraying at WOT since i have a wot switch,. The bottle was jsut filled aswell so i dint no run out of nitrous,. i guess i can check the plugs for the first step. hopefully its jsut the plug and not a rod or something catasrophic like that

you dont have a broken connecting rod man, it would have launched it through the side of the block or out the oil pan, noone drives around with a broken con rod lmao

Ask xcon this is what his plug looked like. Platinum cant handle the heat, always use copper.
