Default whats soo good?

Hey
I'm thinking of buying a newer mustang and alot of ppl that i have talk to say 2003 gt is the way to go what so good /diffrent bout this year

Nothing really. The 1999-mid 2001 had Windsor blocks with T-45 trannys, and the mid 2001-2004 had Romeo blocks with T-3650 trannys. This is the main difference besides the exterior/interior styling. If you can find a 1999-mid 2001 in good condition with low miles, it will be considerably cheaper than the 2002+ you can find in the same condition with same milage. They run just as good.

99 had highest compression out of the 99-04 years...

99-04 all had 260hp 302tq no difference in performance

the 03 is tight bc its the same car as the 04, just a lil cheaper

so its one of the newest.....yet a lil cheaper

oops LOL i meant lowest compression.

1999 4.6 SOHC 260HP Mustang Engine
Compression ratio: 9.30:1

2000-2004 4.6 SOHC 260HP Mustang Engine
Compression ratio: 9.74:1

there is no difference in performance.....i think i remember in consumer reports or someplace that the 03's reliablity was a little less than other years
