Mobil One - 5W-20 Synthetic is what I use. You will note the Oil Weight to use on the oil cap and in your owners manual, you should only adjust for severe cold or severe heat. As for oil filter I use K&N PN 2010 which Kragen stocks.

The weights basically mean how thick the oil is. The higher the number the thicker the oil. They are used for what Sap says, extreme heat or cold, or what kind of engine it is. I live in AZ and I run a 10w-30 synthetic blend.

I use the synthetic blend because I do a lot of short drives. It helps on startups.

I started running Royal Purple in April and have been very pleased with it. When the time comes, I'll be switching out to Royal Purple for everything.

I use Royal Purple Syncro-Max in the 5-speed Tranny and I feel a difference. I don't grind near as much as I used to not to mention shifts are smoother.
