throttle possition sensor fixed finally!!
during installation of an accufab tb/plenum combo, i had to change the tps from the stock to the new tb. after i was finished i had a check engine light. i tried to check the voltage and do it myself with no luck. after 2 days i found a guy at a tire store in jacksonville with a diagnostic meter that reads percentage of sensor output. the trouble code was p0122- low tps output. when the meter was hooked up, the sensor had no output what so ever. with some adjustments(remove and replace-same factory sensor), the sensor finally started reading and the ch. eng. light went out. my idle was at 1500. bad right? no! don't adjust the stop screw. i turned the car off, pumped the brake about 5 times and started it up and back to normal 6 to 7g. hope this helps for anyone in the future because i had a hard time finding anyone with knowledge about this, without taking it to a ford dealer.
