Default brake problem

Ok, I just got done lowering my car, but while we were lowering it we disconnected the front brake wires so they wouldn't be damaged if something were to fall off the car. When we got done we tried bleeding the brakes and nothing happened. When the car is not on you can pump the brake up and it will feel like it normally does but when the car is on you have to push the brakes all the way to the floor and it barely stops. Any ideas?????????

Didn`t you get any fluid out when you bled them?
Is the fluid topped off in the master cylinder?

Thats weird. I would bleed the master cylinder and then do the calipers again and go from there.

sounds like you didn't bleed um right.... you gotta pump the pedal 3-5 times, crack the bleeder screw let the fluid spray and quickly close it. you will have to bleed all 4 wheels if you want it to turn out best...

and why not get a bunjee cord or a peice of coat hanger to hold up the calipers? always works for me if i can't lay um somewhere

Well we did get a cord but the brake line was kind of in the way so we disconnected it, I'm gonna do all 4 tomorrow even though we only took them off on the front wheels.

no matter what.. you have to start from the wheel furthest from the master cylinder and work to the closest one... otherwise it will not turn out right.
