My center console wont close all the way...I opened and closed it fine this morning. When I went to close it later on....it wont close...and nothing is in the way....i check like 500 times...any suggestions

 

maybe the piece that clicks to keep it closed is damaged?

 

holy **** you got a nice stang. hmm center console trouble. mine sometimes doesnt close right, but mine is unboltedbecause i take it out often it seems. if it just wont click then something is stuck. otherwise the only thing i could see is maybe the inner tray popped out a bit. im not really sure why else it wouldnt close.

 

I have had to fix some broken plastic stuff in my car... like the 12V plug door on the shifter bezel.

my advice, take it all apart, pay attention for springs and broken parts.

set it with super/crazy glue. then get some 2 part epoxy and just cake the non-visible portions with that.
