Default Headlight Dimmer

hey you guys.... im having a problem with my lights inside my cluster.... I have a 1969 mach 1.. so i found out that the lights behind the cluster work and hardly go out... so someone told me it will be the dimmer switch... so is the dimmer switch is part of the headlight switch. so i took off the headlight switch...

Have you guys had this problem.... my headlights work and all other lights work but the cluster lights dont work....

whats the problem....

I think you might be referring to the dash light dimmer which is built into the headlight switch (works by twisting the ****) instead of the headlight dimmer swich (which is a button on the floor board).

What exactly do you mean when you say "...the lights behind the cluster work and hardly go out..."?

Have you actually tried to adjust the brightness of the dash lights by twisting the headlight ****? How cool would it be if that solved your problem? If you have already tried that and it didn't help, I'm guessing the switch might be bad.

Good luck!

That makes more sense, hopefully a new switch will solve your problem. Post your results once you get the new one installed.

Good luck!
