I have a 96 cobra and my check egine light came on. So I went to the good old ford dealership to see what the problem was. They said the code came up which meant secoundary air pump was bad. Well I'm pretty sure there talking about the smog pump. Some one correct me if I'm wrong. As far as I know sence I have no cats that thing is worthless. But I would still like to be able to get my check egine light to shut off. So is there a delete kit or something that i can do to tell the computer that its ok. Kind of like mil eliminators do with cats. I would be grateful for any help on the matter. thanks
