Default need answer

im gonna adjust the shift on my 98gt. what i need to know is: what is the difference between adjusting the shift with the programmer and buying a shift kit for the car? it hought they both made it shift harder.

the shift kit will make it really firm. The tuner will up the line pressure so you get a little more kick than usual, and the tuner will also allow the adjustment of shift POINTS.
