How hard is it to install the gear for the speedo after i do rear-end gears?

Don't... Buy a Dallas Mustang Speedcal... It is more accurate than those cheap speedo gears...

Very easy...Once you get it up in the air (mine 1996) was on the drivers side towards the top of the tranny follow the wire harness to a plug it's a 5 min. job with only a 9/16 socket and a long extension. gently pry the "C" clip out from the back of the plastic gear with a screw driver and snap the new gear in. Its not completly accurate, it was off by about 4mph i adjusted my speedo needle.

and anyone that has a 1998 or older can't get a tuner because the speedo is mechanical and is no controled by the computer. it sucks
