Default mgw installed!!!

i got my mgw sts installed today, i had no idea those gears would be so close together its amazing! also, other people have talked about excessive heat coming up from it and noise but ive drove the **** outta it and i have no difference, except great shifting. i recommend this shifter, it is easy to install!

Gotta love that MGW. Its a great shifter. I haven`t noticed any heat coming up but I have noticed a little bit of noise. Its not that loud but I can hear it better while going slow. No big deal.

The tri-ax functions well, but there is a lot of noise coming from it [:@] Also sometimes it emits a little bit of heat.

let me know if after a couple weeks it feels like you broke the shifter in. i installed my mgw and it was realllly tight and close to the gears.. now its like 2months later and its a little looser.

this is normal with shifters or what?

honestly I wouldnt know if they get much more loose, but it could be that your just getting used to it... ie, you ever drive someone elses car thats a manual for a couple of days and then come back to that stiif *** mustang clutch and feel like your doin one legged squats for a week??

the mgw loses firmness over time while the tri-ax keeps the firmness intact =D
