when installing asupercharger is it ok to advance timing to 10 degreese. is this safei, i also have a diablo tuner would it be better to just get their custom tune for my set up?

 

with a s/c, you usually have to retard the timing from the stock setting.

my timing is advanced 2 degrees and im doing fine so far.... made alittle more power with it 2 degrees advanced than at stock and im running rich.... something cool i found out tonight is i hit the rev limiter and it shoots flames 2 feet out the back.... may not be good or not, but it looked awesome.. hahah.

 

ha, that rules now that would be a video. I used to have a Suzuki TL1000R, their v-twin sport bike and before i removed the emissions valve, it used to do the same thing, bwaaaahhh, chop throttle, BOOOOM, outta each can, cars would always give me thumbs up and stuff at nite.

 

if you don't have a custom tune on your handheld your asking for the motor to go boom
